Results for the 2008 Lone Star International Wine Competition are in and Cap*Rock picked up 6 medals for 6 wine entries!

We recently received the results of the 2008 Houston Livestock Show. Cap*Rock won a Silver Medal for the 2005 Chardonnay, another Silver for the 2005 Cabernet, a bronze for the 2005 Merlot, & the Texas Champion bronze Medal for the Blush Royale.  The Italian wines that we import from our partner company Fumanelli Wineries won a bronze medal fro the Terso Blanco Veeneto, &the Champion Gold Medal for the Amarone della Valpolicella!

We are putting together a wine class at Cap*Rock.  The classes will meet once a weeek & be conducted by General Manager Phillip Anderson, a WSET certified wine instructor, and award winning Wine Maker Alberto Marchetto.  They will cover wine basics, wine pairing, & wine regions of the world.
